Description: Please join award winning painter David Barnes for a day of outdoor painting at the Mr. Kinney Azalea Garden.  The Gardens are located at 2391 Kingstown Rd, Kingston, RI, just a few blocks east of the Art Association. There  is ample parking on site, and you will meet David there to begin your day of painting.

This class is open to all media and skill levels. Students will focus on the difficult task of painting a figure in a landscape space. There will be individual and group critiques as well as examples from art history.

David  has a BFA from the Univ. New Hampshire, an MFA from UMASS Dartmouth and has been teaching for more than 10 years at Bristol Community  College, Portsmouth Abbey School, and the Newport Art Museum. His painting studio is located in Fall River, MA.

Meets at Mr. Kinney Azalea Garden, bring a bag lunch to eat.
