Description: If you love flowers, gardens and photography, this course is for you. Visit private and public gardens to capture the rich tapestry of color and natural design on film. Explore the flower as still life and the garden as landscape through lighting, composition, camera and film selection. The six sessions include one classroom and five on-site classes. Those using film cameras will need 5 rolls of ISO 400. Weekly film processing with prints is required. Those using digital cameras should be able to burn a CD or load a jump drive of their images weekly. Please bring  your camera gear to the first class which meets at the Art Association. Expect entrance fees to public gardens some weeks of class.

Shane is a photography instructor in the continuing education program at RISD and at the Barrington Community School. He brings many years of teaching experience to his classes along with a warm and friendly approach.
