90th Members Annual Exhibition
July 20 - August 12
All Members are invited to exhibit one original work in any media. Works must not have been shown previously at SCAA. All entries will be exhibited.
Awards given at the Opening Reception on Thursday, July 20, 7 to 9 pm.
Ann Lewis Parker Award (best watercolor) $100
Lorenzo and Elizabeth Kinney Award (best floral any media) $100
Dorcas Toney Award (best functional pottery) $100
Mary Ann Carney Award (pottery) $100
Visconti Sculpture Award (best sculpture) $100
Best Drawing, Print or Pastel $100
Best Photograph $100
Best Oil/Acrylic $100
Three Honorable Mention Awards
No entry fee (suggested $10 donation greatly appreciated)
2 -D work must be wired and ready for hanging. Vertical measurement is not to exceed 60”, Horizontal measurement is not to exceed 36”. Sculpture must be easily transportable.
SCAA retains 30% on all sales.
All entries must be hand-delivered to SCAA, July 12 – July 16, from 1-5 pm each day.
All work should be picked up on Sunday August 13 between 1-5 pm or during regular gallery hours the following week.
The 12th Annual Great Art Heist
August 17 – September 9, 2017
Donate an artwork, purchase a ticket, and enjoy an evening of fun. Everyone goes home with an original work of art. Get your choice of artwork when your name is drawn on the night of the Great Art Heist. Artists donating work are eligible to win one of three People’s Choice Awards: a free ticket to the Heist!
The Great Art Heist is a popular event and our primary fundraiser. Please help support the SCAA with the gift of your artwork. Your donation is very much appreciated.
All artists are invited to donate one or more original artworks in any media. Work should be original, over $60 in value, and completed by the donating artist
Works may be viewed from Aug. 17 – Sept. 9 in the Helme House Gallery.
Vote on your favorites until Sept. 7 for the People’s Choice Awards.
Three People’s Choice Award winners each receive a free ticket to the Heist.
All 2 -D work must be wired and ready for hanging.
Sculpture must be easily transportable.
Tickets for the Art Heist event are $6O.
All Proceeds will benefit the Art Association.
Please deliver donations to SCAA by August 13. (Gallery will be closed Monday Aug 14 but will be open to accept donations Tuesday, Aug. 15 from 1-5 pm)
Hours for drop off are Wednesday – Sunday between 1-5 PM.
The Great Art Heist event is September 9, festivities begin at 7 PM.
Tickets are sold until the first drawing at 7:30 pm (or until they are gone).
