Ever wonder how one achieves those amazing blues, oranges, and reds in a pit fire piece? This class will address these particular challenges and special materials needed will be gathered to give your pots that vibrant effect you’ve been looking for. Please bring sturdy, bone dry pieces made from a white clay body to the first class. Each student is allowed approx. 2 cu ft. of space.

Jason Fong is an award winning potter, and the pottery shop manager at SCAA. He has many years of experience working in clay studios.
