Original works in any media. Open to all New England artists. Entries due by July 5

Opening:

Awards given at the Opening Reception on Thursday, July 9, 7 to 9 pm.

Call For Entries

Eligibility:

All artists are invited to submit up to 3 original works in any media, 2-D or 3-D.
Works must have been finished in the last 2 years and not previously shown at SCAA.

Awards:

Six cash awards, including one for best sculpture and one for best functional pottery, ranging from $150 - $50, plus Four Honorable Mentions.

Entry Fee:

$12 per entry/members, $15 per entry/non-members. Fees are non refundable.

Framing:

All 2 -D work must be wired and ready for hanging. No one measurement is to exceed 48". Sculpture must be easily transportable.

Sales:

SCAA retains 30% on all sales for members, 35% for non-members.

Delivery:

All entries must be hand-delivered to SCAA, June 28, July 1, 2, 3, & 5 between 1 - 5 pm each day. SCAA will be closed Saturday, July 4th.

Pick-up:

Entries not accepted may be picked up starting Wednesday, July 8, 1 - 5 pm. Accepted work can be picked up on Sunday, August 2, between 1-5 pm.

Juror:

Sean Thomas received his BFA from RISD in 2004, and participated in the European Honors Program during his last year. His work will be shown in a two person show at the Copley Society of Art in Boston, May 15 – June 15, 2009. In 2009 he also received the RISCA fellowship award for Painting.
