18th Annual Great Art Heist
This is our primary fundraiser and your donation is greatly appreciated. Thank you! Eligibility All artists are invited to donate one or more original artworks in any media. Work should be original, valued at $75 or more, and completed by the donating artist. Viewing Works may be viewed from Aug. 17 – Sept. 16. Artwork will be displayed online and in our gallery. Vote for your favorites until September 14 for the People’s Choice Awards. Awards Three People’s Choice Award winners each receive a free ticket to the Heist. Framing All 2 -D work must be wired and ready for hanging. Sculpture must be easily transportable. Tickets Tickets for the Art Heist event are $75. All proceeds to benefit the South County Art Association’s programs and exhibits. Delivery Please deliver donations to SCAA by August 13. Hours for drop off are Wednesday–Sunday between 1-5 PM. Event The Great Art Heist event is September 16, festivities begin at 6 PM. Tickets are sold until the first drawing at 6:30 PM (or until they are gone). The SCAA’s mission is to promote greater public participation in the arts in our Rhode Island community by encouraging the creation, visibility, and appreciation of artwork through membership, quality education, juried and organized exhibitions, and shared artistic experiences. |
