Workshop: Low Light Photography
Don't miss this great opportunity to go behind the scenes in this historic fortress. Explore the officer's quarters, tunnels and see great views of Narragansett Bay from the ramparts. Students in this workshop will practice low light photography techniques, long exposures and interpreting interior spaces in their images. Photographer, Cindy Wilson will be your hands on instructor to assist you in creating unique images in this very historically and haunting environment. Materials and Information here. All levels welcome. This four hour photo session includes not only the private fort and tunnel tour, but also the recently opened, rarely visited Second Redoubt.
Historic Fort Adams is operated by the Fort Adams Trust a 501(c)(3) Non-profit with a mission to protect and promote the historic places and public spaces at the gateway to Narragansett Bay and Newport. This includes directing and supporting the stabilization, maintenance and operation of Fort Adams as a public historic site. Their guided tour is a part of this class and is an additional expense of $32 paid to Fort Adams Trust and given directly to instructor upon arrival at class at 1:30 pm.
