From Dawn to Dark: Lighting the World in Pastel - October 2
From dawn to dark, the light, and the colors it creates, varies tremendously in temperature and value. Add to this atmospheric conditions, and the look of the landscape is an ever-changing panorama. In this class, we will produce paintings that clearly signal a time of day, from early to late, through their use of color and light, and that indicate atmospheric variations in light due to weather or location. Students will work from their own references of landscapes, seascapes, and cityscapes. There will be a materials fee of $5 for paper other than that required in the materials list, payable to the instructor. Materials List
