Learn or reacquaint yourself with the basics of oil painting. We will paint a simple still life of fruit and flowers, focusing on composition, color mixing, and line with the goal of breaking down the complexities of what we see into simple images we can paint. This two day workshop will help students learn to develop technical skills, setting a positive mindset, and to create clean, organized, and portable studios and effective ways to practice painting at home, outside, or in class.
