So you say you had to put off learning how to draw because you worked full time plus you had your children to raise. Now is your time, here's your chance. During these drawing sessions you will learn how to see and drawing will appear secondary. We will start simply by drawing the front and top of a large cardboard box, then from the corner angle and eventually boxes stacked on top of one another. By holding out a pencil you will learn how to measure, see proportions, angles and negative space.
We’ll truly get inspired by looking at line and shaded drawings by Michelangelo, Millet, Degas, Picasso and several others. Other subject matter will include drawing and shading elliptical and various forms as part of a still life. So we’ll start off drawing big and then small. So get hold of your newsprint pad. Grab a pencil and get ready for an eye opening experience.
