Play with Clay! - March 27
Come alone or with a friend! SCAA is offering a one night introduction to pottery. Have you ever wanted to know how to throw clay on a wheel? Build a pot or a mug by hand? An instructor will demonstrate wheel throwing and handbuilding. Each participant will have an opportunity to try their hand on the wheel, including an introduction to other pottery techniques.
The evening is primarily a demonstration of the pottery process from start to finish and will include ‘hands on’ time for everyone. It does not include any pottery product to take home.
SCAA offers an exceptional range and level of courses for adults four sessions each year in wheelthrowing, handbuilding, sculpture and technical topics. Introductory courses are available every session, along with a variety of special classes and workshops.
Materials: All clay and tools will be provided. Students and adults 16 and over.
