This class focuses on techniques to improve your wheel work and throw taller and thinner and with more control, learn to use potter’s ribs for shaping, and understand and master better trimming skills. More advanced forms will be demonstrated such as plates, pouring spouts, lids, and teapots with glazing and decorating. More of an emphasis on constructive critiques of work will help hone skills and refine techniques. Although geared towards wheel work, hand builders are welcome. Pottery 1 class is required.
