NuPastels Only! See What They Can Do | April 2
NuPastels are an inexpensive, extremely versatile brand of soft pastel that are satisfying to those who want to try out the medium and a revelation to more experienced users. They are on the firm side of the soft pastel spectrum, but their deep pigmentation, edges, and clean application gives them some of the characteristics of much softer, and more expensive, pastel brands, and in some cases, an advantage.
In this half-day workshop we will work exclusively with NuPastels. Through the process of creating a finished painting, experimenting with special effects, and ample individual attention, students will learn what can be achieved with this one brand. All levels are welcome. Contact jane@janeerobbins.com with questions.
