nn is a 2D instructor specializing in Drawing ,Painting, and Mixed Media. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island in Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design with a concentration in Fine Arts, along with K–12 teaching certifications in Family Consumer Science and Fine Art. After retiring from a twenty nine year career as a publicschool secondary art educator, Ann now teaches a wide variety of art classes and workshops for adults at Rhode Island art associations, including private instructions at the South County Art Association.
She works and teaches in a wide range of media, including pencil, oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, collage, and mixed media. Her classes always welcome all ability levels, offering supportive, encouraging instruction designed to help every artist grow.
Inspired by nature, landscapes, seascapes, and the expressive interplay of color and light, Ann enjoys her daily creative journey. She devotes her time to painting, accepting commissions, sharing her artwork, and teaching the many wonderful artists and art enthusiasts she meets. Through all her teaching and painting, Ann remains committed to creatively encouraging peace and happiness through art.
