We are thrilled to feature you in our Maker Monday Artist interview series.
Please review the following guidelines before submitting your images and interview answers.

We’d love to get to know you—and the art you make—a little better for our Maker Monday series!
Please answer a total of 8 questions:
The four questions marked required, then choose four additional questions from the part 2 multiple choice selection.
There are no right or wrong answers—we’re looking for your voice, stories, and the things that make your creative practice uniquely yours.
Feel free to keep your answers conversational. A few sentences is great, but if you have a story you’d like to share, we’d love to hear it!

These days you can take great photos with a smart phone, play around with settings, portrait mode is a good feature for headshots.
Below are some tips to consider, but there are always exceptions to the rule!
File Specs:
JPG or PNG
Minimum 2500 px on longest side
300 dpi preferred
A smart phone photo can often get you a good size image.
if in doubt email us the largest file you have.
Best Practices we especially love:
Recent photos in your studio or with your art is great
make sure they are in focus & well lit
a portrait headshot is great but feel free to be creative!
Avoid:
Group photos / tight crops /poor composition
Dark, blurry, or low-quality images
Vacation snapshots or distant full-body photos
Consider a photo in your studio or creative environment.

Show us examples of your best and most relevant work.

Include:
7-8 strong images of your finished artwork
Well lit and sharply focused
Accurate color
Avoid:
poor cropping
unrelated or heavily distracting backgrounds or distortion
Helpful Mix:
A studio shot can be useful when showing scale of work.
if you include a frame please make sure all of it is included in the image.
Showcase your art at it’s best: Sharp focus, accurate color, well cropped.
