Our biggest, most fun, fundraiser of the year!
Buy a ticket, pick your favorites and come steal an artwork.
If you want to bring a friend to watch the event, we have spectator tickets available for $30. The event will take place in our backyard with a live stream of the gallery. You'll will be able to watch your fellow bandits stealing artwork right off the walls.

If you stop by our gallery, the voting for the People’s Choice Awards goes until September 11. Artists donating work are eligible to win one of three People’s Choice Awards: a free ticket to the Heist!

how the art heist works
On the night of the event, we'll pull a name from the list of ticket holders.
If you're the first name called, you get to "steal" an artwork off the wall. The second name called gets to steal what's remaining and so on. It's a game of chance. If you're one of the lucky ones to have your name called in the beginning, you get to go home with your first choice. It's the luck of the draw!
When you buy a ticket we keep track of your name and the number of tickets at SCAA. You'll then either come into our gallery to pick your favorites or view the artwork online. Once you have your list of favorites, bring it to the event, and mark off any that are stolen. That way you’ll know what to grab once your name gets called.

parking
ParKing is available at the Kingston Congregational Church located across the street from SCAA (entrance is right before the light if you're coming from Rt. 1) or on the street. We'll have a crossing guard available to help you cross the street as it has been busy with URI traffic.
What to bring
Bring your list of favorites and a pen with you so you can cross off any heisted art as they are announced.
That way you'll be able to know which pieces are left on your list that are ready for heisting when your name is called.

In the event of inclement weather, updates regarding postponement or rescheduling will be posted here and shared via email and social media. If the event must be postponed, ticket holders may request a refund by contacting the SCAA office at (401) 783-2195.
