There are so many benefits of public art. It reflects and reveals our town’s culture, adds meaning and uniqueness to our community, invigorates our public spaces and is freely accessible.

In celebration of its 300th Anniversary next year, South Kingstown has planned a year-long array of diverse programs that will highlight the town’s rich past and treasures, celebrate the achievements of its people, and create a legacy of memorable, philanthropic, and creative opportunities for its residents and visitors alike. One of their projects is a public art installation to be placed in a circular turret at the Village Green in Peace Dale.
In partnership with the town, we’re helping spread the word to artists that are interested in creating the art installation. |
