It is hard to paint that beautiful pond of koi fish in the dead of winter! Using your own source material can be an excellent way of providing subject matter and references for your work. How to use your own photographs, on the spot color studies and sketches as source material for painting. We will go on location to Roger William Botanical Garden, take photos, make sketches and color notes on the first day of class and then use all we have collected as source material for a new piece of art or body of work. 6 weeks ( earlier the better and during the day)
