Hand Prints with Casey | Zoom | February 27 and 28 (New Dates)
Casey Weibust, a printmaking teacher will introduce you to a method of hand printmaking you can do right at home without a printing press. SCAA will provide Art Kits with all the tools needed to create your own print. Just pick up your kits Wednesday-Sunday from 1-5 before class begins.! Saturday, February 27th
Students will carve a design into linoleum using tools from a kit provided. Students will use gouache and plexi glass provided to create multiple watercolor backgrounds on rice paper provided.
Sunday, February 28th
Students will use black Akua ink and roller provided to roll ink over their carved linoleum blocks and print onto the watercolor backgrounds they created the day before.
Students will be encouraged to share their pieces with the group during and at the end of the second session. All skill levels welcome.
