Simply Still - January 28
Starting off with simple still lifes and a basic color palette, we will discuss lighting and color/tone of simple forms in composition. Each class will have a quick demonstration to start you off into mixing and application of paint around the canvas. We will advance weekly in challenges with and end strong with a variety of patterns and textures of objects. This class is great for a beginner or somebody that would like to sharpen their skills in acrylic or oil paints.
Materials List: Titanium white, Cadmium Yellow Pale, Cadmium Red Medium, and Ultramarine Blue (oil or acrylic), 1" brush, ½" brush, palette knife, disposable palette paper, odorless turpentine for oil, canvas, or canvas board, small thing of matte medium (acrylic) or liquin (oil), 2 jars, rags, Wet Ones hand wipes.
