Zentangle Series | In-Person | June 21
Weeks 1-3 Introduction to Zentangle®. In this class we will learn "The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns''.
I teach the 8 basic steps of The Zentangle Method®, basic patterns, shading, fundamental tangle principles and techniques, history of the patterns and Zentangle® and tanglenhancers. During the first two classes we start off with using the official white 3.5 tile and use patterns and techniques that are a building block for furthering one's tangling path.
Weeks 3-6, Introducing a Zentangle Inspired Art piece, which has many patterns, all of which will be demonstrated to the students and then I will introduce watercolor pencils and a water brush for them to add color to their piece, if they choose to do so. Some students also prefer to just color their work.
Materials Fee: The first week the supply kit will be $10.00. Week two will be $15.00, The fish supplies will be $7.00. If you wish to use color, you can purchase watercolor pencils. The teacher will provide additional recommendations as class progresses.
