This is an easy, unintimidating class for anyone who considers themselves strictly a beginner. We will practice painting 8 watercolor techniques which will be cut and folded into a small book. We will refer to this book for creating watercolor paintings of various sizes of both styles considered painterly and illustrative. We will also be studying great watercolors by Homer, Hopper, Sargent, Pendergast and many others. Expect to learn about art appreciation, color harmony, technique and art elements and principles of design.
