Stud Earrings in Porcelain | October 4
Ever thought of making jewelry with porcelain? Making stud earrings is a very easy and fun way to try your hand at using porcelain. In this class students will make multiple pairs of stud earrings using cone 6 porcelain, underglaze and glaze. Working by rolling out the clay into thin sheets, the clay will be cut with small clay cutters that are specifically for jewelry making (think tiny cookie cutters). In the last week of class, students will be wet sanding adding earring backs to their earrings. Please note that this is not a bead making class, all work is fired flat.
Please view the materials list to see what you should bring and what SCAA will provide.
