Beginners are introduced to working with watercolor washes, glazing, negative space painting and color theory. In addition to understanding and experimenting with the basics of watercolor, we will be able to apply our skills to create still life, landscapes, seascapes and possibly portraits. Going "beyond" will take those techniques further. Every week will include a well thought out, easy to understand, talked through demonstration of the processes. Everyone will get a chance to paint … with success. All levels welcome. Materials List.
