Colored Pencil Drawing | October 18
This 5-week class is perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike who wish to experiment and expand their skills and knowledge about creating with Colored Pencils. We’ll begin by exploring the range and types of colored pencils available today. We’ll create from still-life setups and reference photos on a variety of surfaces and papers. A focus will be on techniques, allowing for an open variety of drawing subjects. Colored pencils can be used for a wide range of work, including, impromptu sketches, illustrations, and natural realism. Our main goal of the class will be successfully learning to use wax-based and oil-based pencils as we experiment, practice, and achieve skills with contour drawing, blending techniques and mixing colors while layering. Enjoy seeing highlights, shadows, perspective, and depth in your artwork as you achieve with this very enjoyable art medium. See the recommended supply list or a 25.00 supply fee to instructor at the first class covers the use of all colored pencils, paper and needed materials. All experience levels are welcome.
