Cartonnage - Paper Boxes
Learn the French artisanal craft of cartonnage (the art of making boxes, books, picture frames and other useful items covered with decorative papers or fabrics). If you love creating with your hands, this is the class is for you. Students will start by constructing a simple picture frame to learn the basics of cutting and assembling the cardboard elements, and applying the decorative paper. We will move on to boxes and book covers in subsequent classes.
