Sculpting with Cast Paper
Create a sculpture using a medium other than metal or clay! Our first class will learn about the manipulative properties of plant fibers using cotton and abaca. We will design and construct an armature to reflect your vision. In class 2 we will finish the armature and learn the techniques of sheet forming and application. In our last class the sculpture will be completed using additional pulp, paint, decorative paper and/or any objects you wish to add.
