Zentangle on Pumpkins! - October 16
Zentangle® On Pumpkins! (3 hour class)
We are taking our tangles to a pumpkin! We will be using special pens (Identipens--$3 available from instructor). Bring your own WHITE ARTIFICIAL pumpkin, NOT ceramic, or get one from instructor in class. I will have a variety of types and sizes, ranging in price ($8 and up). Prior Zentangle experience is helpful, but beginners are welcome. Working on a round pumpkin is a bit more challenging than working on flat paper. Students will receive enough instruction to complete the project at home after class. If you were in a previous pumpkin class, we will be using some new tangles as well as some of my favorites—or perhaps you might choose to work on a different size pumpkin than last time. Class fee payable to instructor is $2 to cover handouts.
Zentangle® is an easy to learn method of creating beautiful images. NO ARTISTIC ABILITY REQUIRED! Each design is broken down into step-by-step instructions. Learn to relax (the “Zen” part) while creating beautiful, repetitive design work (the “tangle” part). Students will create beautiful designs while discovering a new way to relax and enjoy what happens on the paper. Students will learn a variety of “tangles” (patterns) and combine them in their own unique way. The class is taught by Carol Dunn, CZT, a Certified Zentangle Teacher.
Bring your own Zentangle pens and supplies or buy a starter kit in class. Contents of $10 starter kit if needed: Sakura Micron Pigma pens, size .01 and Graphic 1), pencil, tortillion, 5 paper tiles, and a cute little bag.
