It’s winter! Get through the season by embracing and painting its beauty in pastel. We will learn about what to focus on in the winter landscape; the winter light in morning and late in the day; the “colors” of snow; the challenges associated with bare branches and heavy snow-laden pines and roofs; and how to turn any landscape reference into a snow scene. After the first class, you will work from your own reference photos. Some experience with pastel is recommended, but beginners are welcome.
