After her formal training, Annie now teaches at Anyhow Studio in Providence, where she is also a member, and is skilled in wheel throwing, handbuilding, and mold making. Alison’s work explores both functional forms and whimsical, mixed-media sculpture.

Anni began her teaching career 30 years ago. She has taught both clay and studio art classes to middle and upper school students in a private school, as well as adult education classes.

Kris is a self-taught ceramic artist with more than 40 years of experience in wheel throwing and handbuilding. From production ceramics in Los Angeles to years of teaching and creating functional ware in Rhode Island, Kris brings skill, warmth, and real-world knowledge to every class.
Roxann Kasper

Roxann has been an active ceramic artist and teacher at the SCAA for approximately four decades. She continues to explore her creativity through a variety of mediums, including stain glass, watercolor, painting, and natural fiber dying with plants.
Sherry Italiano
Ceramics Instructor | Pottery
Both a hand builder and thrower, much of Sherry’s work is functional with an emphasis on the integrity of a pot, storytelling, and surface decoration.
