This course offers an opportunity to students with prior pastel experience to pursue their particular subject matter interests while receiving individual attention directed to advancing their work in their chosen area. Students may focus on one subject or experiment with two or three across the course, with the goals not only of affirming subject preference and enhancing skill, but also exploring style. Demos and discussions will reinforce core components of strong pastel painting while aligning with the work being done in the class. Materials List.
